Magma Maths continues its growth in the USA, having received a grant of approximately £552,000 from the renowned Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This funding will support a two-year project aimed at advancing Magma Maths' AI technology and implementing it in underprivileged areas.
"By integrating AI into maths instruction, we are equipping teachers with resources to deepen student understanding and foster classroom discussions that make maths accessible and engaging" says Henrik Appert, CEO and co-founder of Magma Maths. "Our vision is to support all students, particularly those in underserved communities, with the high-quality maths education they deserve."
The outcomes of this project will be made freely available to contribute to the development and research of digitalisation in education.
